Home Therapy - maintianing the benefits of massage and esthetic services.
In addition to regular massage or esthetic treatment, we recommend using some simple at home methods for maintaining the benefits of your therapies. Consult with your therapist about what you may need individually for your unique condition. Find out if there are any specific ideas they may have for you to incorporate into your daily life. Our therapists may have some unique information about what might be beneficial for you at this time. After a massage Deep tissue massage is intended to work the muscles with a greater amount of pressure. The residual pain after a deep tissue massage is typically a therapeutic response. For any massage soreness, try epsom salts in a hot bath, a hot water bottle on the affected area, or some simple stretching. Aromatherapy massage incorporates aromatic oils applied to the skin. These oils gradually work their way into the body, exerting their effect over time. Above all, take time to relax after a massage. If you can, plan to have your feet up, or go on a gentle walk, a hot bath and a glass of wine, you may find that the pampering goes a long way. Better yet, come for a massage and stay for one of our signature organic botanical facials.
